Speaking of Clover.

New Green Thumb: Create Conference

Create Conference is a creative communications get together for Canadian church leaders in June of this year. Their site is a great demonstration of the various tools that the Clover Greenhouse offers. Not only is the Create Conference site extremely resourceful, but it is also beautifully designed! A vibrant palette and lively colors are used in all of their design elements. This website is just another great example of how connecting all aspects to a set design standard yields a better aesthetic. Great job Create Conference!

And for those of you who are in Ontario in June, come on over. We’re happy to be a Create Conference sponsor and we’d love to see you!

National Worship Leader Conference – 2011

While I’m on the topic of conferences, I thought it’d be good to mention another conference we’re going to be be at this year. The National Worship Leader Conference will be in Kansas (of all places) on July 18-21.

If you’re thinking about going, use this special promotional code on checkout to get 10% off the normal attendee rate: CLO10

Plus, Matt Redman and Tim Hughes (a couple of my favorites) will be speaking there. Don’t miss out!

New Green Thumb: Colobar

Colobar is a company that is based out of Laval, Quebec and we have to say that their site is absolutely stunning. The use of colors and the re-purposing of their logo throughout the site works very well for their overall brand. The ability to utilize a logo in various forms is important for creating a well rounded brand for a company. Colobar has really hit the nail on the head when it comes to branding strategies. The use of photography on their site is also incredible and really sets the stage for the level of service that they offer. Click below to see how Colobar has developed a great brand that works in conjunction with their website.

Colobar is based out of Quebec which means that they are using French throughout their site. We wanted to highlight this aspect of the site to demonstrate that all western based languages and alphabets can be used with Clover!

Billing Center Launched

Hey all.

I know blog posts have been pretty few and far-between over these last few months… Sorry for the silence. But we are very pleased to announce a project some of our developers have been tediously working on: The Billing Center.

This might not sound like the sexiest thing Clover has ever created, but trust me- this new project has been a long time in the making and will make all our lives about 50x easier.

The Billing Center was created to give Clover customers complete access to all of their billing information (including past receipts, transaction history, etc) whenever they want it. No more needing to call in to change your info or request information. It’s all there. Here’s a really quick overview of the most important Billing Center features.

View All Transactions:

You can view all of your past transactions in one place. Every hosting payment, site switch, refund- whatever transaction occurred will show up here. This is great information for whoever handles the books in your organization.

View/Print All Receipts:

We were getting tons of requests for us to shoot out copies of receipts to our clients every week. Not only will you be emailed a copy of your receipt for every transaction (more on that later), but you are also now able to go into the Billing Center to print off old receipts whenever you’d like. No more needing to call us!

Change Billing Information:

The Billing Center gives you total control over all your billing info, in a completely secure environment. You can change your billing info whenever your heart desires.

Automated Email Notifications

Every time a transaction occurs (i.e.: pay for a monthly hosting payment, past due on a payment, etc), you will receive an email notification. If you have paid for something, you will automatically receive a confirmation receipt. We’ve also set it up so that if you pay for hosting yearly, you will receive a heads up that we’re about to draw that payment just in case you want to make any changes.

We basically want you to feel totally taken care of and secure when dealing with your finances on our platform. The Billing Center should help both you and us out quite a bit.

If you have any questions about anything with the new Billing Center, please give us a call or email us. Hopefully everything is totally straight-forward, but we’re available to help you in any way we can.

New Green Thumb: Fellowship Evangelical Free Church

Fellowship Evangelical Free Church is a ministry that has a lot going on in their community, which is one of the reasons that their Clover site is so successful. The moment that you visit their site you are given the option to utilize the various resources they offer, from social media to media resources directly on the site itself. The design and attention to detail is also excellent, with a unique method for integrating social media icons in the logo header. We have shown this “trick” to many of our other customers, who have implemented it on their Clover sites as well! Take a look at their entire site to see how they are using graphics for their speaking series as well as all the other aspects they offer at Fellowship Evangelical Free Church.

New Green Thumb: Color Canvas Media

Color Canvas Media offers a range of media production services from video production coupled with music services, to a full photography experience. The overall aesthetic that Color Canvas Media encompasses is professional, friendly and inviting, with a palette of bright colors as the focus of their brand. The services that they offer are emphasized on their site with multiple examples and presentations of their past work, which immediately lets the visitor know what level of work that they offer. There are so many resources on this site, you will certainly be engaged as soon as you check them out!

Busy, busy, busy…

Hey Everyone!

I thought it’d be good to do a quick blog post to check in with everyone. This past month has been pretty nuts around the Clover offices. Sorry for the lack of content coming to our blog as of late- we’ve got a million irons in the fire at the moment, and unfortunately (as always) social media is the last on the priority list!

Here’s a quick update of what’s been going on:

1. We’ve moved offices!

You probably haven’t noticed (unless you’ve called in and heard banging!), but we’ve just moved offices. You can see our new address here. We’re now in Newbury Park (which is right down the road from Simi Valley), and occupy a second floor of an office complex in beautiful Ventura County. Construction has taken a few months, but we’re coming close to the end (and occupying the space during the final touches).

The space is absolutely amazing. Once everything is put together, we’ll be sure to post pics and a video tour. My office is still under construction, so I’ve been able to work out in customer service for the past couple of weeks or so… Here is my current view:

We’ll be sure to post more pics and video for you architecture/interior design peeps soon.

2. Billing System:

This is a boring item, but we are finishing up our final touches on our brand new billing center for all the Clover customers. We’ve been putting this project off for about 2 years… Not as fun as other projects. But we decided to put some development hours into this for both your sake and ours. In the next month or so, we’ll be rolling out our new Billing Center that will allow you to see all your transaction and billing history, as well as have one place to edit and update all your vital and secure information. As anyone who has ever dealt with storing credit card info securely knows, to do this type of thing right is amazingly complicated and tedious (but worth it). We’ll let you know when everything is live.

3. 2 more weeks of $250 for Clover Friends Small Business referrals!

This promo is coming to an end in a couple of weeks, so spread the word while you still can to make some money. A lot of people have been taking advantage of this offer, so don’t miss out!

4. Clover Gives: International Justice Missions

We’re just about to write our Clover Gives check to IJM for this quarter. Thanks to everyone who purchased a website this quarter, who (knowingly and unknowingly) donated their first month’s hosting payment to the work of IJM.

So that’s some what’s been happening around the Clover offices for the past few weeks. We hope you all are having a great Christmas season.
