New Green Thumb: Missiongathering Church

Take a look at the Missiongathering Church site when you get a chance because we guarantee that you will like what you see. To start off they have a vibrant design theme which you can see throughout the entire site and to accent this they have chosen a great color scheme that is not too bright and saturated but still remains lively.  Secondly, they are really taking advantage of the ’screen real estate’ that they have with the Epaga site design by using the large full picture layouts on a number of their pages. Rather than using the text fields they are simply creating large photos with text on them using photo manipulation software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. You will want to check out all of the pages on the site to see some of the cool solutions that the folks over at Missiongathering Church have come up with.

New Green Thumb: Vox

We really like what the people over at Vox have done with their site, or should we say what they haven’t done to their site. Their artistic direction is the perfect example of a ‘less is more’ approach and it really seems to be working well for them. Vox is not afraid to use the ‘white space’ that the Kairos design has to offer which is very important for any website design for a few reasons. Firstly, the blank space on their site allows for the rest of the content, such as photos and text, to be more prominent on the page. Secondly, they let the design go hand in hand with their philosophy of stripping away any unneeded elements and looking at the core of church, being people. Overall, a great illustration of a minimal and super clean site.

New Green Thumb: Central Community

Central Community Church demonstrates how the use of a design theme can bring together the components of any website design. Nearly all of the photos they have used on their site follow a theme of vibrant light images, also they have maintained the same font throughout all the images that they use. This is subtle but very important for keeping the site simple and clean. Check out their page titled ‘How Do I get Involved?’ for some inspiration on how to make your site a bit more interactive.

New Green Thumb: Circle J Cowboy Church

This has to be one of most unique and well designed sites that we have yet to see. The large welcome graphic introduces the site perfectly and really gives you an effective message of what Circle J Church is all about. While on the ‘Home’ page take a look at the leather background that they created for the navigation bar at the bottom, and the detail of the arrow that points to their ‘Events’ page is a great way of directing users to an important page on your site. These guys took such an awesome approach for one of our most unique sites.

New Green Thumb: Table Rock Fellowship

Some of the things that we really appreciate about Table Rock Fellowship’s design is their attention to consistency throughout the site. You will notice that each page has a uniform, vibrant, and well designed photo to introduce what each page is about. Another great aspect is the large graphic that you are greeted with when you first enter the site. They used the same colors in the this full page graphic that are in the logo on the left as well as the accent color for their Clover site. Consistency and great branding is what makes Table Rock Fellowship our newest Green Thumb.
