New Green Thumb: Sunnybrook Community Church

Sunnybrook Community Church is using one of the first designs we came out with and we have to say that they have added some new life to it. They designed a beautiful Clover site with relevant graphics, excellent use of photos, and a great logo to accompany their church brand. Their website is a great example of a church who not only places a large emphasis on their web presence, but a church that gives their members a culture to identify with and supplies them with the tools to create community. We highly recommend checking out their site for something different.

New Green Thumb: Pittsburgh East Community Church

This is a site design that has not been profiled yet, and I have to say that it is definitely unique amongst all of our Green Thumbs. Pittsburgh East is using our relatively new site design, Eden, and they are making ample use of the design features that are unique to this particular site design. From just a look at the home page you can see that this church is not only concerned with design, but they also make sure that their site is functional and communicates well for their visitors. Check them out for some interesting ideas!

New Green Thumb: OneLife Church

OneLife Church has to be one of my all time favorite Green Thumbs, and I think you’ll be hard pressed to disagree. The overall look that OneLife Church embodies is friendly and inviting, with a palette of beautiful colors, and their overall branding matches well with the Venture site design. You’ll find all the ministries that they offer on their site with in-depth info for each, which helps to keep their congregation engaged. With so many resources on this site, you will certainly be engaged once you take a look!

New Green Thumb: Homegirl Cafe

Homegirl Cafe is an awesome non-profit organization that is a part of Homeboy Industries located in Los Angeles. Their mission is to assist at-risk and formerly gang involved young women and men to become contributing members to the greater community. We love Homegirl Cafe because they are not afraid to the choose a distinctive design direction and stick with it throughout their site. Often times, we see companies create a site with awesome content, but they fail at keeping a consistent brand for their organization. Homegirl Cafe not only has a ton of content, but they back it up with great design.

New Green Thumb: YesMan

YesMan is an organization based out of Norway, and they specialize in event consulting, entertainment, and even supporting a collection of musicians and artists. The YesMan site has done a great job of promoting not only their services, but also profiling the artists they represent. The presentation for each of their events is creatively designed with eye catching full page layouts and excellent photos. Even if you don’t speak Norsk, you’re going to appreciate what the YesMan organization has done with their website!

New Green Thumb: Intown Community School

Intown Community School is an organization that is committed to cultivating a love of learning among their students. Their site helps keep the parents and students connected and informed with the events and services they provide, and they incorporate great design at the same time. The photographs on their site are beautifully taken and include actual students and staff, which help to make their site more “real” and inviting. Check out how they have made use of all the Clover resources and be inspired!

Theatre for Young Audiences is a national service organization whose mission is to promote the power of professional theatre for young audiences and they has been doing just that for over 45 years. Their website makes great use of all the features that Clover offers and showcases all of the programs, publications and projects they endorse. The use of colors, fonts and photos is consistent throughout the site, and the overall brand for Theatre for Young Audiences is simply beautiful. Check out their site to see some creative solutions!

New Green Thumb: FrancisChan.org

FrancisChan.org is the website for speaker and author, Francis Chan. The design elements are fairly minimalistic throughout, and it features beautiful black and white photography capturing Francis’ dynamic speaking style. This definitely helps to strengthen his brand as both an author and a speaker. On his site you’ll find a wealth of resources with media items, a schedule for his upcoming speaking engagements, and a way to contact him for speaking events.

We guarantee you’ll find some great inspiration at this site!

New Green Thumb: Junky Car Club

The Junky Car Club was established in the spring of 2006 when Mike Foster decided to sell his fully loaded sports car and opt out for a “junky car”. With the desire to give more to worthy causes, Mike began to enlist his friends to join him in his experiment of driving clunkers and giving more. And the best part is that The Junky Car Club provides the opportunity to sponsor a child with a monthly donation that would otherwise be going toward your car. With lively colors, great photography and tons of media resources, this site about as engaging as it gets. This is one of our favorite sites and we guarantee you will see why once you take a look.

Take a look at the Bully Proof Foundation website and see how they have created a successful identity for their organization.
