To celebrate Clover’s recent launch into the world of business websites, we are making all Clover Friends business referrals a whopping $250 (as opposed to our normal $100) from now until the end of the year.

Another three months has come and gone and we just had the privilege or writing a check for ServantWorks and their ministry The Well. If you purchased a site from us in July, August or September, we took your first $20 hosting payment and donated it to them. I’m personally really excited about this, because I wholeheartedly believe in their organization and their mission. They’ve been doing an amazing job of rescuing women from prostitution in Thailand, and training them in skills to help them become self-sufficient.

Just about 2 weeks ago we launched our at-a-glance statistics in every Clover website’s Greenhouse. We’ve been working on this feature for some time now, and we are stoked to give it to you.
We love Google Analytics (which you can still have in conjunction with these stats) for the incredible in-depth information it provides about your visitors. You can know what browser they visited you with, where they are located, which pages they visited and for how long, and what their favorite food is. Well, maybe not that last one, but I’m sure Google will figure it out one day. This info is great for marketing and analysis purposes, but can be pretty complicated if you’re just looking for quick, easy to understand information.
Our new stats feature gives you clear, digestible info on how many visitors are hitting your site at any given time/day/month, as well as what kind of media player/podcasting traffic you are getting.

We’ve just updated the design settings on the Meadowbrook, Connection, and Origin site designs. I made a quick video below highlighting these new design updates.
As I mentioned in the video, be sure to check out the custom design settings on your specific site design to see if there are any changes available to you that would enhance the look of your site. You’ve been asking for it for a couple of years, and now we can officially answer “Yes!”
Over the past 2 years we’ve received this question literally hundreds of times: “Can I use Clover for my small business?”
Our answer has typically been something like: “Yeah, you can. You’ll just have to be creative with using the tools created for ministries on your business site.” But now, we have opened up cloversites.com to any small business, artist, non-profit, or industry you can think of. The internet-wide problem of not being able to have a decent looking site that you can manage without spending a fortune is now over.

Now that Summer is officially in full swing, it means that we’re about to start our third round of Clover Gives. We haven’t publicized it very much, but every quarter starting in 2010, we’re taking the first month’s hosting payment from new purchases and giving it to charity. The first quarter we chose Children’s Hunger Fund and for the last three months, it’s been Gaba Bible Institute.
Thanks to you all, we cut a check to Gaba yesterday that we believe will have a great impact on their ministry. We feel so grateful to be a small part in what God is doing through them. They have a unique set of programs that is raising up leaders and training pastors to ultimately transform the communities in Uganda.
For the next three months, we’ve chosen a ministry that I personally support and believe in: The Well in Thailand. I’ll quote their website since I probably can’t explain their organization as well as they can. Read More…
