Every Clover website is now equipped with the ability to add form pages.
If you own a Clover site, you now have the easiest way to create a form on the web. Even if you don’t have a need to collect information from your visitors, it’s worth messing with just to see how easy it is to create a form.
Hats off to Jeremy, who has put some long and hard hours into this feature.
Here’s a walkthrough of this new feature:
We’ve also put together a super in-depth help article that has both a written walkthrough and also a reference of all the advanced options that are possible.
Thanks for waiting for this feature! Happy form creating…

We’re proud to be sponsors at the first ever Catalyst Dallas, happening May 11-13. As most of you know, we’ve been sponsors of Catalyst East & West, and now that they’re deciding to meet folks in the middle of our country, we thought we’d join them there too.
We recently gave away 4 tickets to Catalyst West, and were able to hook up some fine folks with some tickets. Since we’re big fans of hooking people up, we decided to do the same thing with Catalyst Dallas. So we’ll be giving away 4 tickets (2 per winner- 2 winners total) to Catalyst Dallas this week. Here’s how you qualify for the giveaway:
1. Must be willing to travel to Dallas on your own dime. This contest is not limited to locals, but you’ve gotta get yourself out to Dallas and handle your own food and lodging for this event. We’re simply hooking you up with tickets.
2. Must Re-Tweet the following phrase:
@cloversites is giving away 4 tickets to #CatDallas. Go here for more details: http://bit.ly/ep2UCO
Or, if not on Twitter comment “Hey Clover- I want to go to Catalyst Dallas!” on this post off our Facebook page.
Like last time, we’ll do a drawing and announce it on our blog (and Twitter and Facebook). We’ll announce it at 12PM Pacific on Friday (April 29th). We’ll be sure to contact the winners asap, and tell you where at the event to pick up your tickets.
Good luck everyone!

Lately there’s been an uprising of questions on our blog about the progress of our new forms feature. We’ve been working hard on it for a while now, and since a lot of you have been asking about it, we thought it’d be good to give you a quick glance at our progress to date. We’ve been hesitant to show it simply because it looks like it’s just about done… But in true Clover style, we want to make sure it works perfectly and all the glitches are fixed before we release it just so you don’t get frustrated. So to answer your question as vaguely as possible before you ask it, the forms feature will be released to all Clover customers “soon”.
We still have a bit more work to do on it, but here’s your first look at the new forms feature:

We’re proud to announce 3 new site designs. Here they are:
Eden:

This site design has a ton of flexibility, and gives you designers out there a chance to make something vibrant and stunning. Demo this site and really mess around with the background gradients… There are some beautiful color combinations that are possible.
Alliance:

We created a kinda retro/grunge/designer site for those out there who want a bit more character in your website. You have the ability to turn the different background layers off (ie. rays of sun and paper) to really create the look you want.
Echo Park:

This site design gives you the ability to have a either a stunning or more reserved look… The site is super easy to navigate, as well as easy to make look good.
Be sure to check all our site designs out when you get a chance. You can demo them all on our website.

As some of you already know, we moved locations this past December from Simi Valley to Newbury Park, California (about 25 minutes away). Since this move didn’t impact our customers too much (with the exception of the occasional drill or saw buzzing in the background of a phone call), we’ve kinda kept our move on the hush until we were completed with the entire space.
Last Thursday night (St. Patricks Day – which we thought was perfect) we had our big open house party where we finally were able to show off our new space to a couple hundred friends, family and clients. We had an amazing time, and Ben and I were proud to show off our newly renovated space.
I wanted to post some pics of the party for you guys… Thanks again to all who were able to come out and support us!
We are having the entire space shot over the next couple of weeks, so I’ll be sure to post again when we have some great photos that will tell more of the story of our new offices. In the meantime, check out a couple shots of the night:

Hey all.
I know blog posts have been pretty few and far-between over these last few months… Sorry for the silence. But we are very pleased to announce a project some of our developers have been tediously working on: The Billing Center.
This might not sound like the sexiest thing Clover has ever created, but trust me- this new project has been a long time in the making and will make all our lives about 50x easier.
The Billing Center was created to give Clover customers complete access to all of their billing information (including past receipts, transaction history, etc) whenever they want it. No more needing to call in to change your info or request information. It’s all there. Here’s a really quick overview of the most important Billing Center features.
View All Transactions:

You can view all of your past transactions in one place. Every hosting payment, site switch, refund- whatever transaction occurred will show up here. This is great information for whoever handles the books in your organization.
View/Print All Receipts:

We were getting tons of requests for us to shoot out copies of receipts to our clients every week. Not only will you be emailed a copy of your receipt for every transaction (more on that later), but you are also now able to go into the Billing Center to print off old receipts whenever you’d like. No more needing to call us!
Change Billing Information:

The Billing Center gives you total control over all your billing info, in a completely secure environment. You can change your billing info whenever your heart desires.
Automated Email Notifications

Every time a transaction occurs (i.e.: pay for a monthly hosting payment, past due on a payment, etc), you will receive an email notification. If you have paid for something, you will automatically receive a confirmation receipt. We’ve also set it up so that if you pay for hosting yearly, you will receive a heads up that we’re about to draw that payment just in case you want to make any changes.
We basically want you to feel totally taken care of and secure when dealing with your finances on our platform. The Billing Center should help both you and us out quite a bit.
If you have any questions about anything with the new Billing Center, please give us a call or email us. Hopefully everything is totally straight-forward, but we’re available to help you in any way we can.

Hey Everyone!
I thought it’d be good to do a quick blog post to check in with everyone. This past month has been pretty nuts around the Clover offices. Sorry for the lack of content coming to our blog as of late- we’ve got a million irons in the fire at the moment, and unfortunately (as always) social media is the last on the priority list!
Here’s a quick update of what’s been going on:
1. We’ve moved offices!
You probably haven’t noticed (unless you’ve called in and heard banging!), but we’ve just moved offices. You can see our new address here. We’re now in Newbury Park (which is right down the road from Simi Valley), and occupy a second floor of an office complex in beautiful Ventura County. Construction has taken a few months, but we’re coming close to the end (and occupying the space during the final touches).
The space is absolutely amazing. Once everything is put together, we’ll be sure to post pics and a video tour. My office is still under construction, so I’ve been able to work out in customer service for the past couple of weeks or so… Here is my current view:

We’ll be sure to post more pics and video for you architecture/interior design peeps soon.
2. Billing System:
This is a boring item, but we are finishing up our final touches on our brand new billing center for all the Clover customers. We’ve been putting this project off for about 2 years… Not as fun as other projects. But we decided to put some development hours into this for both your sake and ours. In the next month or so, we’ll be rolling out our new Billing Center that will allow you to see all your transaction and billing history, as well as have one place to edit and update all your vital and secure information. As anyone who has ever dealt with storing credit card info securely knows, to do this type of thing right is amazingly complicated and tedious (but worth it). We’ll let you know when everything is live.
3. 2 more weeks of $250 for Clover Friends Small Business referrals!
This promo is coming to an end in a couple of weeks, so spread the word while you still can to make some money. A lot of people have been taking advantage of this offer, so don’t miss out!
4. Clover Gives: International Justice Missions
We’re just about to write our Clover Gives check to IJM for this quarter. Thanks to everyone who purchased a website this quarter, who (knowingly and unknowingly) donated their first month’s hosting payment to the work of IJM.
So that’s some what’s been happening around the Clover offices for the past few weeks. We hope you all are having a great Christmas season.

We’ve just released 2 new site designs… We’ve realized that so many of our sites tend to be more strong and modern-looking, so we decided to create a couple that have a more feminine look and feel to them. So we’d like to introduce you to Harmony and Bordeaux. Read More…
