Design Settings Update
We’ve just updated the design settings on the Meadowbrook, Connection, and Origin site designs. I made a quick video below highlighting these new design updates.
As I mentioned in the video, be sure to check out the custom design settings on your specific site design to see if there are any changes available to you that would enhance the look of your site. A lot of the designs have unique elements that can be changed, so be sure to check them out. If you have any suggestions for site design setting capabilities, make a comment below.

heya – our clover site is still in process, but i was wondering if we could incorporate I-Mix into our media page options? We’d like to encourage our visitors to hear and worship with our Sunday play lists…thanks! trisa
I would love to see the possibility of uploading a picture (specifically a textured background) for the background of entire site, instead of just a color or gradient would be so great. I would love to add either a wood or cement textured image as my backdrop.
Thanks!
Hey Nathan- That’s a great idea. Actually, we had that planned for our “Rock Point” site design… But we ended up ditching it because of how much it would increase the file size. Since we know now you guys want it, we’ll revisit that option. It might be a cool dashboard setting for all sites.
Jim,
1. I would love to see that feature added to all sites ASAP…seems like a fairly simple feature that add a whole level of “individualization” to clover sites. I have two clients, that I know would switch over their sites to me/clover from their current providers if that added level of customization existed.
2. A cool feature for the “northcoast” site might be to allow color choice for background color and or the diagonal lines. I have church that uses the site and they would love that feature. Just my 2cents, thanks for listening.
3. Any idea on a target date for the photo gallery feature that was promoted to be a follow up to greenhouse 2.0?
Nathan-
1. We’ll see what we can do on the background image… We’ll keep you updated.
2. As far as the North Coast feature- I think that’s pretty do-able. I just talked to our dev team, and they’re working on it right now. Great suggestion! We’ll shoot all North Coast people an email when the feature is added, so stay tuned.
3. The photo album will be coming out (realistically) after the form page is created. Not sure of any time frame right now, but we’ll let you know when we have a better idea.
Hi there – just a quick question – do you think in the future there may be the possibility of having sub pages under sub pages (eg., Ministries -> Women’s Ministry -> additional pages? This feature would add so much more functionality to our site. So many requests from so many of our ministries to expand their page into something bigger makes it difficult to do with the current limitations… any thoughts?
Blessings!
Hi Tracey,
We actually have designed our sites to make them super easy to navigate. The idea behind the two levels of navigation is that anyone on your site would know where they are, and where they want to go. I don’t know that we’ve changed our minds much on this philosophy, but I am more than happy to let you know if we make some changes along these lines!
Hey Jim.
Almost two months ago I suggested the “customization” for the North Coast site (see comments above) and you stated the dev team was working on it…any news on when we might see that completed?
Nathan-
We rolled that out about a month ago! You (or whoever is the contact at your church) should have received the notification.
Just click on “change colors” in your Greenhouse, and you should now see you have 3 colors (“Accent Color 2″ is the background color).
Sorry you didn’t hear abou this update sooner.
Also, we’ve purposely not allowed immediate music on the site… We figured that for every site that did a good job with this feature, there would be 30 sites that blasted some 80′s pop song obnoxiously loud that made everyone who hit their site frantically turn their sound off. It’s a relatively easy update, but we really don’t like browsing sites with music on their sites (unless they’re bands). Sorry about that one. But enjoy the new colors on North Coast!
Hey Jim,
Not sure how I missed the NC color update, but THANKS! Love it. Bummer about the music, especially since you say its relatively easy.
