Editing Your Media Player – Part 2
Here is the 2nd and final video showing what it’s going to be like to edit your media player on the new Greenhouse 2.0 coming out on April 28th (next month!). In this video I just show what it’s like to add media items to your player. Check it out:
Among other new features, we’re especially stoked about the way you will be able to add thumbnails to your video/audio items.
You can either choose a frame from the video (any frame you can find… Vimeo/YouTube doesn’t even do this):
Or you can take any photo out of your photo album (which will allow you to create true “album art” or just pick a flattering frame):
Feel free to check out more videos and see all the upcoming features at the Greenhouse 2.0 Updates page. Hang in there… It’s going to be awesome!

AWE. SOME.
Yup. That’s pretty sweet. Only 2 months to go!
Flippin’ sweet.
Can’t wait!
Question: When I upload a video (let’s say a message…) and it is then processed on your end will GH2.0 be able to take that video and offer it as both the native video AND an audio file?
@David – It won’t automatically serve up both an audio and a video file if you upload a video… but you can always upload your own audio and video and put them both in the same player. (Or you could even have two different media players – one for audio and one for video).
Part 3: What it looks like for audio?
Clay-
It looks exactly the same for audio… You’ll be able to intersperse any audio files you might have with the video on any given player. You could even have a dedicated “audio only” media player. You’ll be able to able to upload album or series art (which will be the image in the player while the audio is playing), or if you don’t have any image with the audio file, we have a default audio icon that displays. Make sense?
