Clover Needs Your Help!
Most of you know we are launching the new version of our Greenhouse on April 28th.
With the launch of the new Greenhouse we will (with your help) be providing users with the ability to have a seamless experience on their website in their own language. Although the Greenhouse will still be completely in English, each Clover website owner will have the ability in their Greenhouse Dashboard to change some of the static titles and phrases of the front end user sites… Most of which are in the Calendar and Media Player (i.e. “Monday”, “January”, etc.), as well some warning dialogue boxes and password protection items.
Here’s where you come in…
None of us are proficient at every language. Although I took 3 years of German in high school and one in college, the only thing I remember how to say is “I like potato salad.”
We need you (and your language-proficient friends) to help us out. We figure that if you own a Clover site and desire to have a seamless experience for your users in your native language, this will be a great tool for you and your ministry. We also know that although we probably could go to a dictionary to get literal translations, a lot of our language will not translate (ex: “never mind” = “no brain”). So as you can see, we need your help.
Here’s how you can help.
If you know any Western-European languages (please, no Pig-Latin/Redneck submissions… although it might be funny… actually, totally give us those) we would love you to fill out our New Language Submission Form. Any help you give will be a great step in the right direction. Also, feel free to pass the form onto some of your friends. The more help, the better!

Oh yeah- we’re also giving you the ability to reorganize your month/date/year according to the region you live in. I know our friends in Europe have been asking for this feature for a while, so you can rest assured you will have this feature in the new Greenhouse Dashboard.

We are missionaries serving in Honduras since 1994….we are currently working on a multi-site plan that would be implemented here in Honduras. Since most of the ministry will be in Spanish….I was wondering about the language issues….I assume that everything can be edited? What kind of Spanish help do you need? Also, I realize that your prices are awesome….however, are there special deals for cross-cultural missionaries? Keep up the good work…the websites are beautiful.

Thanks for your interest in Clover. I am happy to say that you have the ability to use Spanish on your site and if you visit this link you will get a clear understanding that the static parts of the site will be changed to the language of your liking as part of Greenhouse 2.0: Clover Language Form
Secondly, we do have have both a multi-site plan, where the more that you buy the larger the discount. It is called Clover groups and you can read more here: Clover Groups!
