Speaking of Clover.

Speaking of Clover’s New Look

Feel free to take a look around… It’s really the same basic blog content with a couple more frills, and maybe a tad more grown-up. We hope you like it.

I thought you had branded yourself pretty well. This design doesn’t seem to go along with with everything else…

Juan said on January 7th, 2010:

very nice! I like the simple and polish look it has.

the only quibble is that I have a 13′ Macbook Pro and the left side of the page is cut off. I can only see about .25 of “promotional” box. If you put anything else there In that side I wouldn’t be able to see it on my computer.

@Nate We actually went into this redesign with the intention of making our blog more about our personal thoughts and opinions (see the new blog post). We intentionally made the look a bit different than our overall Clover branding. Maybe even give it it’s own branding…

@Juan This was a trade-off and in the end we recognize that some of our users are going to be able to view the promotional piece while other aren’t, however this was a compromise in order to achieve aesthetic and functionality that we wanted. Basically, we knew that was going to happen with smaller monitors… We’re cool with that.

Well don’t get me wrong, the blog is excellent and I’m “game” with everything you guys do. I’ve been promoting you guys everywhere I go, and all my colleagues in ministry.

The only reason why I mentioned it is because if you are going to promote something I would think you would want the most amount of people to be able to find out what you are promoting. I’m looking at it with my daughters laptop (bigger screen) and you can’t even click it. Just wanted to help a little and I know you guys will always try to do what’s best for your product. Carry on… You guys are top notch!

GOD bless!

That makes sense, well said. How’s the Greenhouse 2.0 coming? I’m dying to use it! :)

Wes said on January 8th, 2010:

@Nate From Jim:

Greenhouse 2.0 is moving right along and in case you haven’t heard of its official release date it is 4.28.10

… and we will be updating the Greenhouse development page ASAP

Nick said on January 8th, 2010:

APRIL!? Wow…I thought it was going to be released in January…

:(

Wes said on January 12th, 2010:

@Nick We re-evaluated the amount of work that GH 2.0 would require (not just require, rather make as perfect as possible) and projected this date to give you guys a more concrete answer. We didn’t want to tip-toe around the bush anymore; were working hard to get it to you asap.
