Greenhouse 2.0
So we’ve been alluding to the new version of The Greenhouse for a while now, and we’ve finally got something to show you! We’re in the middle of development on it, but we took a break to make a quick page so you can see what we’re up to. It’s going to be a complete redesign, and we’re adding a ton of features, but of course trying to make sure it’s still as easy to use as ever.

So Greenhouse 2.0 will pretty much double what we’re able to do with our site. And I was already super stoked about our site as is. I can’t imagine how fantastic it’s going to be when this comes out. Clover you are by far the best web design solution EVER. The fact that you give all this great new stuff for free to existing customers just got you added to my Christmas card list. That’s how much I love you guys!
You guys continue to rock my socks off! Awesome updates guys. Keep up the good work. Now I want to fly out and change my video! And go out to eat again. And play call of duty again.

The new version looks like it will be awesome. I’m excited to see where you guys take Clover next! Will you be adding any functionality specifically targeted at SEO?
Hey Alex – Yeah, we will be adding some more SEO features. Right now, as you probably know, we optimize all the sites for SEO. We take all the text you type, and put it in html, using header tags for the titles and making sure search engines see all of your pages as separate links.
In this next version, we’ll be improving the way search engines see the links to each page (creating word links like “/ministries/small-groups/” and using a unique title for each page). We’ll also be adding your calendar and sermon players to what search engines can see.
There’s a special feature we’re creating, too, that will let you put text in place of an “all picture” layout on your homepage, so you can still have your important keywords on your first page.
And of course like now, you can control your meta description and keywords. We’re definitely trying to offer the best SEO around!
Oh yeah, one more thing I forgot to mention. All documents you add to the site are indexed by search engines, too, and we’ll be extending this to documents that you attach to sermons in the new greenhouse.
And also, we’ll soon be allowing image search engines to see your pictures, along with a new option to tell search engines not to index your pictures and/or your site at all!
Any one of the features your preparing for 2.0 would be AMAZING! But to get them all at the same time… I can’t wait! I think I am most excited about the ability to add text to an “all picture” layout. I’m so ready for 2.o!

I own three Clover sites and am now tasked with finding another for our ministry. I did not consider Clover but looked for one where I could put all 4 because I had begun to think that Greenhouse 2 was not going to happen.
BUT I definitely like what I see, I’m encouraged to hold on and pray it comes to pass soon.
Some of the new features are definitely what my organization is asking for
I can’t wait for Greenhouse 2.0! It is everything we need. It’s going to be great! Bring it on!!

Any Word on when it will be ready?
We are working hard on Greenhouse 2.0 – We don’t have an exact release date, but we are anticipating it by the end of the year!
First we get an amazing site for our church plant – Then Sonic begins selling chicken sandwiches for .99 – and Now we are already getting a wicked cool Media Player . . . We dig it!!!
