Walkin’ on Broken Glass
That song was stuck in my head all yesterday…
Yesterday morning we awoke to a phone call (well, to be honest Ben was ‘awoked’, I put him down as the emergency contact… genius) from the peeps who own the office building we lease from. They said there was some vandalism in our offices, and that someone had chucked a rock through one of our windows.
After arriving to our office to check out the damage, Ben found out they threw the rock (and Dell computer, ironically) through my office window. Here’s the aftermath…
Video footage revealed that it was just a couple of kids at about 4AM that morning just looking to break some stuff. The crazy thing is that they threw the computer first, then launched the rock right after in the same spot… I actually have a piece of the rock lodged in one of my pictures in my office. I’m definitely going to keep that there for a while.
Praise the Lord nothing was actually ripped off. They also totally missed my 30″ monitor (you can see throught the window on the first picture). So after all was said and done, I escaped with only a few scratches on my desk, monitor, and pictures. It could have been a ton worse.
Happy Monday!

Wow, really lucky, or better, praise be His Providence… well, a little comment, those kids sure had their values figured out… they figured that a DELL is worth much less than a rock (can’t say that i don’t agree) and they just gave that extra effort to miss all things Apple… praise be the God
So is a computer through the window considered cyber terrorism? And really, a Dell?
…amazing they didn’t take the Intuos
