Calendar Repeat is Here.

The long awaited function of repeating an event on your Clover calendar is here. It’s actually been available for quite some time now, but now that it is on our demo sites we thought we’d announce it.

To add a repeated event on your calendar, all you have to do it fill out your event’s info, then click “Duplicate Event” button.

The next step is to simply select the days you want it to re-occur on. That’s it… Super simple.

If you haven’t had a chance to check everything out (anything from adding calendar events to creating an awesome, unique website), make sure you do it today.

Sweet! Question on functionality. Can you edit individual occurrences within a series? Can you delete on occurrence within a repeating event? For example say it’s 1-year of Bible Studies but there are 6 different meetings off can you just delete these? That would be super helpful because we cancel events for holidays and other stuff all the time.

Love the “Calendar Repeat”. This is a great feature and has already come in handy. We just made our site live last week and what a tremendous difference in uploading all of our information. This is really GREAT.

Hi Sans!

Yes, you can definitely do those things! Once you duplicate the event, you can choose any days/dates to copy the event to. If you need to edit or delete the event on a certain date, you can do that too. Simply remove the event from the dates where there are holidays, for example.

We are also working on an even better recurring events calendar feature and will update that when it’s released too!

We just launched our site last week and are extremely happy! Really excited about all the great features of Clover and the new advances that keep coming!
One thought on the calender is an option to print each monthly calendar or print a scheduled list of the monthly events. It is something we used to provide to all of our congregation but may find a way to do it for some now that our website is so much more accessible!

I enjoy the freedom of the repeat function. You’re tied in to an every week/every other week/same day of the week choice. Just pick the dates and you’re set. Great functionality.
One of things we did due to the absence of this feature early on is put our “regular every week” schedule on the text of the calendar page and then just highlight the special events in the calendar. It has made managing the calendar much easier in the long run and plan to keep it that way.
