the beginning…
The world of web design is an interesting phenomena… It seems that with the web growing and expanding, there ends up being an even greater division between those who “get it”, and those who don’t. Not only on a _root/C++/Meta-Tag/RSS-feed/Ping/social-networking/blahblahblah level, but even on a functionality and design level (which most people believe they are experts at).
What’s even more interesting to me, is that this divide seems even greater in the Christian sub-culture.
This gap seems easy to blame on a number of things, ranging from the fact that we’re talking about a sub-culture (which due to its nature has fewer people to survey, thus a broader range of understanding) to the fact that there are some that believe that Satan himself lives somewhere inside the world-wide-web.
Although it would be easy to shift the blame onto an external factor such as Satan, we’ve decided to take the blame for this one. We’ve realized that not only is there a lack of information available helping Christians to bridge this gap, but there is also a complete lack of internet services for Christians that demonstrate ingenuity, beauty and intuitive design.
So here is our solution.
For the first problem, we’ve decided to start this blog, “Speaking of Clover.” We’ll provide you with information, thoughts, ideas, probably the occasional weird post, that are hopefully not only beneficial to you in your own personal life, but also beneficial to your ministry.
For the second problem, we invented “Clover.” Hence the “Speaking of Clover” name… Catchy, isn’t it? We’ve spent this last year developing a service that provides churches, para-churches, and other ministries with beautiful, customizable, easy to manage websites priced for ministries. This service was made for churches on a budget, but without skimping on design nor back-end user interface. We like to think of it as getting a luxury car for the price of a coupe.
If you need a website, check out www.cloversites.com. We think you’ll be impressed.
Thanks for reading. We hope this blog and Clover bless you and your ministry.

hey guys! thank you so much for what you are doing.
Clover Guys!! Your site is a HUGE blessing to our family–going through a church plant right now!!
I come from a long background in corporate communications–graphic design work mostly (I know. . . everyone’s an expert), and I have been really disheartened by the web templates available for purchase on-line.
Thanks for filling a need for small church ministries!
Your blog is interesting!
Keep up the good work!
